When you watch Mia Sage interview a guest, you are transported to a vivid perception of another human. Mia has developed a revolutionary way to create and apply curious inquiry. Her unique interviews transform the way people express their true passions. Not since Socratic dialogue has anyone made such an impact on the patterns of communication people use to create harmony.
Human communication hasn’t changed in centuries. People typically complain, blame, criticize, argue, and gossip. Except now they do it online with the intent to convince and coerce one another. Business, family, and political systems are rife with conflict and stagnation.
According to Marshall McLuhan the medium is the message. Mia Sage transcends words. Her questions touch people beyond the content of the conversation.
INTERVIEWER: You have taken the interview method to a whole new level. When you have a conversation with people on camera, they begin glowing almost immediately. They speak inner truths that surprise them as much as the audience. I was so impressed with your method that I began calling it Ultra Reality TV. In contrast with scandal-laden Reality TV shows that make people look bad, you shift them into higher psychological states and traits.
So tell me. How do you do that?
MIA: (laughs) Well, everybody has a story. And everyone has something important to say. I don’t care about any of that.
What interests me is who people really are. I love it when their authentic nature shines through. Under their stories and masks, they are so beautiful that it stops my mind. I say what I see, and we seem to shift into another reality.
INTERVIEWER: That simple?
MIA: That simple.
INTERVIEWER: You just see it?
MIA: Exactly.
INTERVIEWER: How does it work?
MIA: I haven’t the faintest idea. When someone invites me to look under the facade, I just see them. I can only tell you that it is a warm, wonderful feeling.
